These are a natural mixture of different carotenoids that occur naturally in the Dunaliella algae. These include lutein, zeaxanthin, α-carotene and β-carotene as a plant precursor of vitamin A. These carotenoids from the Dunaliella algae are known for coloring the sea red-pink in certain places.
